Cindy was born in New Orleans, but her family moved to Lafayette, Louisiana when she was very young. The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Donald James, Cindy and her 2 brothers grew up in the heart of Cajun country. She graduated with honors from the University of Louisiana, (USL at the time).
Life’s travels eventually landed her in Montgomery, AL. where she first got her feet wet in the investment industry. She worked in equity research in the Trust Investment division of a large bank and quickly moved up the ladder. She was responsible for compiling the approved list of equities for the monthly statewide meeting of trust investment officers and assisted in managing the bank’s proprietary money market fund.
Cindy relocated to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1994 and continued to expand her knowledge and experience in the financial industry joining a local investment advisory practice in 1994. She obtained her Series 24 General Securities Principal license which allowed her to focus on compliance and the overall supervision of the practice in addition to supervising 5 satellite branch offices. Cindy subsequently developed her own practice and enjoys helping clients in all aspects of their financial life. She also focuses on assisting clients on social security strategies appropriate for their situation.
Cindy has completed numerous educational courses pertaining to her profession including Southern Trust School in Birmingham, AL. She is involved in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, United Way, American Heart Association and other organizations which allow her the opportunity to give back to the community.

Cindy’s most notable trait is her compassion and genuine concern for the well-being of others. Based on integrity, her primary objective is to be her clients most trusted resource. Inherent in this relationship, Cindy always holds her client’s best interest at the heart of her practice.
On a personal note Cindy has two beautiful daughters, Brittany and Courtney. In their youth she enjoyed traveling across the south as they competed in equestrian riding events and soccer tournaments. Brittany has now graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi and is pursuing further education for a career in Occupational Therapy. Courtney is currently attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she plays soccer and is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences. In her free time, Cindy enjoys exercising and traveling.
